Tacos (Mexico)

Ingredients:

  • 300g ground beef or chicken
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Small tortillas
  • Chopped lettuce, tomato, cheese, sour cream, and salsa

Instructions:

  • In a pan, cook meat with chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper until fully done.
  • Warm the tortillas in a pan or microwave.
  • Fill each tortilla with meat, then top with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, salsa, and sour cream.
  • Fold and serve warm!

Pizza Margherita (Italy)

Ingredients:

  • Pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • 1 ball fresh mozzarella
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Olive oil
  • Salt

Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 220°C (430°F).
  • Roll out dough, spread tomato sauce evenly.
  • Tear mozzarella into chunks and place on top.
  • Add basil leaves and drizzle with olive oil.
  • Bake for 12–15 mins until crust is golden.

  • Dumpling wrappers
  • 200g ground chicken or pork

Instructions:

  • Mix meat, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and onions.
  • Place 1 tsp of filling in each wrapper, fold and seal with water.
  • Steam for 8–10 mins or pan-fry for a crispy bottom.
  • Serve with soy sauce or chili oil.

Butter Chicken (India)

Ingredients:

  • 500g chicken breast, cubed
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric, chili powder, garam masala
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup tomato puree
  • ½ cup cream

Instruction:

  • Marinate chicken in yogurt and spices for 30 mins.
  • Cook chicken in butter until golden. Remove and set aside.
  • In same pan, cook tomato puree with spices.
  • Add cream, bring to simmer.
  • Return chicken to pan and cook 10 mins.
  • Serve with naan or rice.

Ingredients:

  • Sushi rice (cooked and seasoned with vinegar)
  • Nori sheets (seaweed)
  • Sliced raw fish (salmon, tuna) or cucumber/avocado for veg

  • 200g minced beef

  • 1 cup tomato sauce
